What is Rocket School

Rocket School is an educational initiative aimed at increasing the talent pool for model rocketry and teaching more young people the basic skills of rocketry to prepare them best for a career in the space sector

How do I join?

Rocket School is completely free to enrol by clicking on the ‘Log In’ button at the top of every page. There, it will guide you through the process of enrolling. Just a few clicks and you’re onto the trajectory!

Are there awards?

Yes! Rocket School has developed a ‘Trajectory’ which is made up of 9 badges, each progressively more difficult. They help you to learn the basic skills of model rocketry in a fun, engaging, and gripping way.

How do I get a badge?

Each badge has different requirements, all clearly labelled in our hubs section. Once you’ve completed the requirements, you can submit the evidence via a form on our website and within a few days you should receive your digital certificate of completion.

Why should I learn Rocketry?

The space sector is one of the fastest growing industries across the world. As technology develops, it will become easier and cheaper to launch to space. Therefore, a growing number of jobs will be available. Learning the skills now, will put you up ahead of everyone else on the career ladder.
