My name is Ted and I started my rocketry journey at the age of 8. The photo above was taken in Texas, USA where, at the age of 14, I competed as a member of Team GB in the World Space Modelling Championships and won Gold and Silver medals with my self-built precision payload rocket. Since then I have opened Rocket School so I can help other young people follow their own trajectory through prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards that develop a breadth and depth of rocketry knowledge and application.
Whether you are set on a career in aerospace engineering, looking to become an astronaut or just want to enjoy the challenge of rocket science, enrolling in Rocket School will certainly put you on the right trajectory!
If you’ve not already discovered, there is lots of content available online about building and launching rockets. The trouble is finding what is relevant, legal and accessible in the UK.
Come and join me in the fun of rocketry and start on your own trajectory!
Ted

Begin competing against other young rocketeers. Compete with your school, at National events, and at international championships.
Safety and Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility in rocketry. Making sure young people remain safe and protected from harm is a priority.
Accidents can happen when flying rockets, whether that's your rocket damaging a neighbour's car or your rockets go missing on a flight to an international competition. Insurance is important to make sure no-one loses out. The British Model Flying Association (BMFA) provides insurance for rocketeers.
